<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for recording program information, with which newer program information after change can be provided to a user even when the program information is changed from the time of reservation of program recording to the arrival of reserved time. SOLUTION: The program information containing the program titles, broadcasting starting times, program lengths or program ending times and broadcasting channels of plural programs at least is acquired and on the basis of that program information, a program guide is presented to the user. When the user selects a desired program on the basis of the presented program guide, the broadcasting starting time, program length or broadcasting ending time and broadcasting channel of that selected program are stored at least (recording reservation). At the stored broadcasting starting time, the broadcasting channel of the selected program is received for the program length from the broadcasting starting time or from the broadcasting starting time to the broadcasting ending time and the relevant received contents are recorded. Besides, during the received contents of the program are recorded, the program information on the selected program is acquired and recorded again.</p> |
