<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device in which it is automatically changed from dark side to bright side but not to such extent as too bright when a person gets up at night, and it does not operate automatically at day time when lighting is not required. SOLUTION: The lighting device comprises a lighting means 2 having at least two stages of brightness adjustment function, a human body detecting sensor 3 which detects the movement of a human body and outputs a control signal, and a control means 4 which changes the brightness stage of the above lighting means 2 from the dark side to the bright side based on a control signal outputted from the human body detecting sensor 3. And it is also equipped with a brightness sensor 5 which detects the brightness of the room and enables the human body detecting sensor 3 to output a control signal only when the brightness of the room is same as or below the prescribed brightness.</p> |
