PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately reproduce the movement locus of a ball on the board surface of an actually existing game machine when executing a pinball game as a computer game. SOLUTION: An image of a board surface Y1 of a game machine Y as the object of analysis of the movement locus of the ball is picked up with the ball out by an image pickup device Z to obtain reference picture data for a reference picture, and an image of the board surface Y is picked up plural times with the ball in to obtain plural board surface image data for plural temporally continuous board surface images. A computer device X compares each board surface image data with reference image data to detect relative positions of the ball to the board surface in plural board surface images. Data of the locus of the ball is generated in accordance with displacement of relative positions of the ball. This data is used for control of determination of the moving direction of the ball in the pinball game.
