PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color cathode ray tube device having simple construction for reducing the mislanding of an electron beam. SOLUTION: Temperature sensing ferrites 11a-11d which decrease in magnetizing strength with temperature rise, to be zero at a Curie temperature or higher, is provide on the outer periphery of an enclosure 1 so that the electron beam 7 from an electron gun 6 is deflected outward by a magnetic field generated by the temperature sensing ferrites 11a-11d.
