PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a debugger capable of operating debug without developing a command transmitting part side and a command receiving part side as a pair. SOLUTION: This system is provided with debug record recording means DBGR1, DBGR2, DBGR3, and DBGR4, and an interface is arranged between the (DBGR1, DBGR3) and the (DBGR2, DBGR4), and the former is arranged at a command transmitting part side (host side) and the latter is arranged at a command receiving part (target side). Then, information indicating a relation between the source code file of a program to be an object an of the debugger and a VP performance code file in which the source code file of the program is described with VP performance codes is recorded in the (DBGR1, DBGR3), and an instruction with the VP performance codes is issued from the command transmitting part side to the command receiving part side by using a virtual processor defining a VP assembly language dependent on any specific CPU and the VP performance code corresponding to the VP assembly language so that debug can be performed.
