PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device and a display system using the same, which are capable of preventing flickers caused when inverted drive is performed in color field sequential drive and which are also adaptable to high definition and making the display small in size. SOLUTION: The polarities of image signal voltages of at least one color among the signal voltages of the three primary colors are made to be of the like polarity, thereby preventing flickers which occur due to DC voltage superposed on the image signal.
