PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for measuring plural samples without executing mechanical movement. SOLUTION: In the device 208 and the method in which plural light-emitting devices are used, light directed toward each sample among plural samples through each optical fiber can be received by a method in which a time difference is set. Light is generated in each sample at a different time consistent with the time when light is radiated to the sample. A single detector 276 is used for detecting light radiated from plural samples at the different times. Plural forked optical cables are connected to the light-emitting devices and the single optical detector 276, and integrated end parts of each forked cable are used as a light-emitting port and a light detection port 272. Plural targets can be detected by the same method from each of plural samples, by installing plural different light-emitting devices relative to each target to be detected and the single detector 276.
