PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of measuring accurately even at a very low temperature in a limited space, a mechanical characteristic value such as interlayer fracture toughness or the like on laminated material such as fiber reinforced plastics or the like. SOLUTION: A test piece 14 by FRP is inserted between a pair of mounting members 5, 5 having first and second bearings 8A, 8B on both ends. The first bearing 8A of the mounting members 5, 5 is loaded on a rail member 4, and an insertion part 11 of a wedge-shaped member 10 is inserted between the first bearing 8A and the second bearing 8B of the pair of the mounting members 5, 5 where the sample piece 14 is bonded.
