PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable tensile force measuring device for a cable type structure saving the labor and increasing the speed in the measurement, improving the measuring accuracy, and securing the safety of the work. SOLUTION: This cable tensile force measuring device is provided with a vibrator applying vibration to the cable, a vibration measuring instrument measuring the vibration state of the cable, a frequency measuring system receiving a measured value from the vibration measuring instrument, judging the state of the cable vibration thereby, and deciding the natural frequency of the cable, and a control part receiving the natural frequency from the frequency measuring system, thereby controlling the vibrator, and adjusting the frequency. The vibrator, the frequency measuring system, and the control part are mounted on a carriage having wheels and an outrigger.
