PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball joint to secure an oscillating region of a ball stud and to restrain rattling of the ball stud. SOLUTION: This ball joint is furnished with a ball stud having a spherical spherical head part and a handle part extending from the spherical head part, a synthetic resin-made bearing containing the spherical head part of the ball stud free to oscillate and revolve and having a bearing opening opened to one end or both ends and a groove extended in the axial direction on an inner periphery, and a roughly cylindrical or cut type housing containing the bearing and projecting the handle part of the ball stud from the housing opening. The neighbourhood of the bearing opening is curvedly formed to the shaft center side at the time of assembly. The bearing is formed so that a groove provided on an inner periphery in a natural state before assembly becomes deeper toward a bearing opening.
