Method in which: - a point is applied to a measured load, less than 0.1 Newton's, preferably 10 milli Newton's, in at least a part of the materials surface (20) so as to produce deformation of the material; - the constraints produced at the point (1) are then measured. The measured application points are referenced in the following manner: - before application of the point forces, two reference zones (41-44) are formed on the surface (20) of the material, which enclose at least a measuring zone (46-48). The measuring zone (46-48) has between the reference zones (41-44) and an area transversal to the zones, a transversal dimension sufficiently small to allow easy identification by a measuring imprint; - the point loads are then applied in the measuring zones (46048); - at each of the points, a reference load is applied which exceeds the elastic limit of the material at that point so as to form a measuring imprint, and; - the application points of the loads are referenced with the reference zones (46-48). |
