PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To filter a monochromatic image by a simple circuit by using a filter processing circuit which is used for color image output, but not used for monochromatic image output. SOLUTION: When a color converting process part 10 generates monochromatic data from RGB data and outputs them as a monochromatic image, a filter having characteristics for removing moire in a horizontal scanning direction is set as an R filter 11R and a filter having characteristics for removing moire in the vertical scanning direction is set as a G filter 11G; and then the R filter 11R removes the moire in the vertical scanning direction from the monochromatic data from the color converting process part 10 and the G filter 11G removes the moire in the vertical scanning direction from the processing result. |
