PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing device which also functions as a scaffold. SOLUTION: The device is formed by inserting a molded body the same as a cylindrical molded body of a porous material for piping insulation or a similar-shaped molded body having a fan-shaped cut-out portion in cross section into linear or curved cavities created by binding polygonal cavities formed as the seams of steel bar of an arbitrary structural body formed by a steel bars for forming a flat surface on the upper side and, if required, a sound absorbing board is additionally attached to a single side or a double side for the formation.
