PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a battery pack that accommodates plural secondary batteries with laminate sheet as the armoring material in a pack case composed of upper and lower cases, and that is formed in a thin type. SOLUTION: A plurality of secondary batteries 1 are hold in position by battery positioning ribs 6a, 6b and inner walls 28 individually within a lower case 2b. Ribs formed on an upper case 2a are inserted into this lower case 2b between an inner wall 28 and an outer wall 27, facing part between the battery positioning ribs 6a, 6b and between the positioning rib 6a and a base board positioning rib 7a, and the upper case 2a is subject to supersonic welding. Because the upper case 2a and the lower case 2b are welded so as to surround the secondary batteries 1, strength against bending or twisting is high and the secondary batteries 1 can be held in position even with a thin type, so that damages caused by shock or vibration are prevented from damaging the secondary batteries 1.
