PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guiding method for an on-vehicle navigation device capable of performing route guiding without replacing a music CD with a CD- ROM on which map data are stored as much as possible even in the case of being away from the guiding route. SOLUTION: In this route guiding method for an on-vehicle navigation device provided with a data reading part 1 capable of using both a ROM disk where the map data are stored and a music disk, the on-vehicle navigation device is provided with a storing part 7 storing search results of the guiding route, searches for the guiding route, stores the guiding route, a map around the guiding route and traffic rule data on the guiding route in the part 7 and displays information 39 on the basis of the traffic rule data when the location of a self-vehicle is away from the guiding route 32. |
