PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen with good picture quality in which a fine pitch can be obtained at a low cost without degrading the quality, a light shielding layer can be easily formed and the workability can be increased. SOLUTION: The transmission type screen has a base material 11 transmissive for ionization radiation, a lenticular lens part 12 consisting of an ionization radiation-curing resin formed as a plurality of parallel lines on the face of the base material 11 in the light source side, a light-shielding pattern 13 formed on the face of the base material 11 in the observation side and on the plane where the light from the lenticular lens part 12 is not condensed, and a layer 14 having a diffusing function formed on the face of the base material 11 in the observation side and on the plane where the light from the lenticular lens part 12 is condensed.
