PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared gas analyzer having little temperature dependency and an excellent S/N ratio, capable of stable measurement. SOLUTION: A resistance value of a hot-wire resistance element of a hot-wire resistance type flow sensor 5 arranged in a communication path 44 for connecting a front chamber 41 to a rear chamber 42, for measuring the velocity of a gas flow in the communication path 44 based on the pressure difference between the two chambers 41, 42 as a resistance change is changed into a resistance value having polarity of a temperature changing rate, inverted to the negative state, and an application (supply) voltage of a bridge circuit composed of the hot-wire resistance element is set at 7V or higher.
