The board has a base board and at least one retractable board part (8), which is connected to the base board by hydraulically-operated clamps (12). The height of the retractable board part can be adjusted using a height-adjustment unit, which has vertical spindles (30) coupled to the retractable board part, which are rotatably held at the base board. The spindles are adjusted using a common drive motor, which releases the hydraulic clamps during the adjustment. The retractable board part is also connected to the base board by spring-biased screws (25).
