<p>An angular velocity sensor comprises an oscillator with an oscillating part and a connection part, a first base connected to the connection part, a support plate for supporting the first base, a circuit board secured to the support plate, an elastic body attached to the end of the support plate and/or the circuit board, and a second base provided to stop the opening of a case. The oscillating part has a short side and a long side. The oscillator is so arranged that the long side of the oscillating part is perpendicular to the second base. The elastic body is located between the inner wall of the case and the end of the support plate and/or the circuit board. The elastic body supports the support plate and the circuit board in the case. The variation in compressibility of the elastic body, thus the variation in external vibration to the oscillator, is prevented, resulting in stable output characteristic of the angular velocity sensor.</p> |
