A set-up box, provided with a box-forming part (1) and a cover (2), which set-up box is foldable between a collapsed condition and a set-up condition, wherein the box-forming part comprises at least one polygonal ground panel (3), pivotably connected on one side to a back panel (7) and, on the opposite side, pivotably connected to a front panel (6), and wherein the remaining sides of the ground panel are bounded by side panels, pivotably connected thereto, the cover comprising a cover panel (9) preferably substantially identical in shape to the ground panel and bounded on all sides but one by edge panels (12, 13, 14); which edge panels form an edge standing up from the cover panel (7); wherein the cover, via the side not bounded by an edge panel, is pivotably connected (8, 10, 31) to the back panel (7); wherein, in collapsed condition, the box-forming part is folded substantially within the raised edge against the cover panel while forming a block-shaped packet with a base surface substantially identical in shape to the cover panel; and wherein in set-up condition the box-forming part encloses a storage space, closable by the cover.
