<p>A spreading unit (112) of a base station apparatus (100)is used to spread transmission data at such a low spreading rate that a predetermined signal quality can hardly be ensured by despreading by a mobile station apparatus (101). An error detecting unit (137) of the mobile station apparatus (101) is used to detect an error from the despread received data. Upon detecting an error, a request for data retransmission is sent to the base station apparatus (100), while the despread data is held by a despreading/combining unit (136). Thereafter, the mobile station apparatus (101) repeats combining of that held data and the retransmitted, despread data until no error is detected. In this way, the transmission efficiency can be improved, the transmission power can be saved as much as possible, and the diversity in transmission from a plurality of antennas can be improved.</p> |
