<p>The invention concerns an instrument for setting elastic bands of orthodontic wires on brackets of devices for dental rehabilitation. The invention is characterised in that it comprises an elongated body (1) wherein is provided a longitudinal reception and guiding passage (2) shaped to allow slidable housing of a chain of bands (3) consisting of elastic rings (3a, 3b, 3c, , 3n) laterally linked to one another by a linking element (4), said reception and guiding passage (2) emerging at one of the ends of said body (1) forming a setting head (1a) for said instrument, said setting head comprising a support plate (6) for example oriented parallel or substantially parallel to the axis of the body (1) and provided with a retaining pin (7) positioned on the path of the outlet for the elastic annular bands (3a, 3b, 3c, , 3n), spaced apart from the free end (6a) of said support plate.</p> |
