The method involves exchanging data between a central processor and a user processor for generating a photomaster. Structured photomasters are read in and the structured characteristics are identified. A component structure is generated from the structure characteristics and the components are allocated to any paramerizable substitution elements. An Independent claim is also included for photomaster production device.
