<p>A method for a composite material which has a base material of a metal, a nonmetal, or a compound thereof and, dispersed in the base material, at least one dispersoid of a metal, a nonmetal, or a compound thereof, which is of a type different from that of the base material, characterized in that a raw material for the base material comprising a metal, a nonmetal, or a compound thereof which constitutes the base material and at least one raw material for the dispersoid comprising a metal, a nonmetal, or a compound thereof which constitutes the dispersoid are vaporized simultaneously or alternatively, and these vaporized particles are deposited on a substrate to produce a bulk article. The method allows the production of a composite material comprising two or more metals, nonmetals, or compounds thereof which exhibits extremely uniform dispersion of a dispersoid into a base material, regardless of the composition of the composite material.</p> |
