A data communication method in which IP address is specified to facilitate transmission and reception of data, and which enable transmission and reception of data for network games without necessity for a game server for maintaining and controlling network information such as address information during intercommunication. The method includes a step of releasing address information on a first communication terminal (10) connected to the Internet (5) on a Web page, a step of giving the address information to a second communication terminal (11) that is connected to the Internet (5) and requires data communication with the first terminal (10), and a step where the second terminal (11) specifies the IP address of the first terminal (10) based on the acquired address information, the first terminal (10) specifies the IP address of the second terminal by sending the data including the address information on the second terminal (11) to the first terminal (10), and various kinds of data is sent and received between the first and second terminals (10, 11). |
