<p>A method for determining a frequency of motion of an object from a time sequence of images of said object, said method comprising the steps of applying an autocorrelation function to individual pixels in across said image sequence; computing an average autocorrelation for each image to produce an amplitude pattern of said average autocorrelation; applying a filter to said amplitude pattern; applying a peak detector to said filtered amplitude; and comparing said peak to its time of occurrence in said image sequence to thereby determine frequency of motion of said object.</p> |
