<p>A procedure for consulting telephone users' data, which are stored in artificial memories, such as memories in the solid state, on an optical or magnetic support. These memories may be installed directly by the manufacturers of public or private telephones, mobile cellular phones, electronic notebooks or 'data banks' and special dedicated handheld readers (31, 311), or they may be contained in portable supports (14) such as 'smart cards' to be used on every type of enabled appliance (10, 11, 12, 13). The subscriber's data (surname, first name, town, telephone number complete with dialling code, profession or activity) may be searched using the keyboard (15) and displayed on the screens (16) of the above-mentioned appliances.</p> |
