<p>The invention concerns a device comprising an ampoule (4) at the base of a crucible (3) for crystal growth by gradual solidification of a liquid, and particular heating means (9) for adjusting the temperature of a volume of said gas pocket and provide excess pressure at the base of the crucible relative to the top to ensure contraction of the crystal (2) when it solidifies and avoid defects in the crystals. By eliminating a pressure adjusting circuit connecting said two extreme regions to establish excess pressure directly, the arrangement is greatly simplified while avoiding condensation of vaporised portions of the crystal in the ducts.</p> |
