<p>A paraffin bath appliance (10) has a housing (12) formed by a base (22), sidewall (24), and upper opening (26). An inner tub (14) formed of a temperature resistant polymer, is received in the upper opening (26) so that the tub bottom wall (30) overlies the base (22) of the housing (12). A heating element (44), (46) and adjustable thermostat (56) are located between the inner tub (14) and housing (12). A temperature indicating element (38) may be provided in the inner tub (14) so as to be visible through the melted paraffin.</p> |
