<p>A ventilation device in a panel, such as a window, door and the like, for ventilating an area located behind it, comprises an elongated housing having a ventilation passage which extends between the outside of the housing and the inside of the housing facing towards the area to be ventilated, as well as a flap located on the inside of the housing for exposing or closing the ventilation passage.
