PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mask plate wherein detachably or undetachably a plate is fixed to an outer frame without contacting a plate with a surface to be printed or a support surface supporting a material to be printed. SOLUTION: The metal mask plate comprises an outer frame made of a metal or the like, and a plate made of a thin plate-like frame in which a fixed fabric of the metal mask plate is tensioned. Thus, the outer frame has a contact surface with a surface of a material to be printed or a support surface for supporting the material to be printed. In this case, the plate is not contacted with the surface of the material to be printed or the support surface for supporting the material to be printed, or the plate has the contact surface. The plate is fixed to the outer frame, but when the plate is removable, it take no place for preserving the plate. The thickness of the outer frame or both the thicknesses of the outer frame and the fixed plate give a thickness necessary for printing to the metal mask plate.
