METHOD FOR COLD DEFLUORINATION OF FLUORORESIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of reusing waste fluororesin molded products by cold defluorination. SOLUTION: A pulverized fluororesin component is mechanochemically treated in the presence of sodium hydroxide (solid) at normal temperature for a predetermined hours and subsequently filtered. The obtained solid residue is reused as a fuel and the water-soluble fluoride itself is reused as an inorganic fluoride.
