PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor carrying capacity adjustment device capable of preventing to be rationally constituted by avoiding an excessive facility by preventing large quantity loading on one point of a conveyor belt even in the case of intermittently supplying a load. SOLUTION: A carrying capacity adjustment device 10 is constituted to support a load 3 on a temporary support base 12 by moving the temporary support base 12 to a projected position to interfere with a loading part 21 to a conveyor belt 20 when the conveyor belt 20 comes to be in an overloaded state as large quantity of the load is supplied to a conveyor 2 at one time by a control device 50 and to transfer and place the load 3 supported by inclining the temporary support base 12 to the conveyor belt 20 when the overloaded state to the conveyor belt 20 is dissolved by providing an inclined base 11 free to oscillate on a base 10A provided by facing the loading part 21 of the conveyor 2 and providing the temporary support base 12 as a temporary support base member free to move to be separated from or to make contact with the conveyor 2 on the inclined base 11.
