PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive vertical panel material made of an FRP reinforced metal, having enhanced restoration performance and capable of being naturally restored to its original shape if deformed, while permitting a certain degree of deformation for reducing shocks. SOLUTION: A metallic plate having a thickness of 0.5 to 2 mm to constitute the automotive vertical panel material is reinforced on at least one side thereof with an FRP sheet having a thickness of 0.1 to 2 mm and made of reinforcing fibers and resin.
