PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood collection device which makes white blood cell component possible to be returned to a blood donor without discarding the same when blood collection is carried out, and a blood component collection circuit. SOLUTION: The blood component collection device 1 is the device for the blood component collection circuit 2 having a centrifugal separator 20, a blood plasma collection bag 25, a red blood cell collection bag 26 and a buffy coat collection bag 27. The blood component collection device 1 has control functions to execute a blood plasma collection step for collecting blood plasma into the blood plasma collection bag 25 from the blood by activating the centrifugal separator 20, a buffer coat collection step of allowing the buffy coat to flow out of the inside of the centrifugal separator 20 and collecting the buffy coat into the buffy coat collection bag 27, a buffy coat returning step of returning the collecting buffy coat to the blood donor and a red blood cell collection step of collecting the red blood cells in the centrifugal separator 20 into the red blood cell collection bag 26.
