<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sole for golf club of iron type which improves the operability of club. SOLUTION: The golf club (10) or the golf club set has the sole (15) provided with four surfaces, i.e., a crescent bottom surface (17), a positive bounce surface (20), a heel surface (21) and a toe surface (22). The crescent base surface has a rear boundary (28) which exists near a rear edge and is straight as a whole and a front boundary (23) which is curved. Further, the crescent bottom surface is made substantially flush with the ground surface when a player addresses the club.</p> |
