PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calcium silicate material usable for building materials since the material which is obtained by blending this calcium silicate material in the waste material of a xonotlite-based calcium silicate lagging for recycling the lagging, has satisfactory bending strength, brightness or the like without being deteriorated so much in characteristics such as bending strength in comparison with those of the calcium silicate material which does not contain the waste material. SOLUTION: This calcium silicate material consists of tobermorite-based calcium silicate, 1-10 wt.% xonotlite-based calcium silicate and a reinforcing fiber. |
