<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat section of a product capable of separating a number of fiber pieces at the same time to transfer the same to a second feeding device. SOLUTION: A clamp device 2 is composed of a pair of clamp jaws 12, 13, the clamp jaws 12, 13 are movable independently from each other in the directions vertical to a plane of a product web 1 or a product piece 1', in parallel with the feeding direction of the product piece 1', and in parallel with the feeding direction of the second feeding device, the product piece 1' is clamped and held by the clamp jaws 12, 13 on a plane I. of the first feeding device to be transferred to a plane II. of the second feeding device. The clamp jaws 12, 13 are moved from a closing position to an opening position at a second position to be returned to the plane I. of the first feeding device.</p> |
