<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of enhancing the function of a tube for drainage itself from such a present method that the tube for drainage is made indwelt in the wound cavity or ecthyma cavity after operation and expecting the natural extracorporeal discharge of the blood, lymph pus, exudate, secretion, etc., accumulating there, positively discharges these liquids and contributes to the early recovery of a patient. SOLUTION: Rectilinear or meandering line grooves are inscribed on the inner side of the tube for drainage to impart some capillarity to the tube for drainage itself. Fibers, such as cotton yarn subjected to degreasing and sterilizing or braided cords, etc., having absorptivity are previously mounted at the inside of the tube for drainage. Further, fine grain powder, such as fibers, having absorptivity and high-polymer absorptive materials used as absorbents, such as paper diaper, are spray deposited and vapor deposited like liners to the inner side of the tube for drainage, by which the function of the tube drainage is intensified.</p> |
