PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dressing device and a lens grinding device provided therewith capable of displaying a dressing message for recommending the dressing of a finishing grinding wheel to a worker when the finished number reaches a predetermined number or more. SOLUTION: This grinding device has: a finish sensor for sensing the finishing state of a non-processed spectacle lens by finishing grinding wheels 20 or 18; a counter for measuring the sensing number of times of the finish sensor and the processed number by the finishing grinding wheels 20 or 18; and a liquid crystal display unit for displaying the dressing message for recommending the dressing of the finishing grinding wheels 20 or 18 when the sensing number of times of the finish sensor until processing finish reaches a predetermined number of times or more and the processed number of the non-processed spectacle lenses reaches a predetermined number or more.
