PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly engage a pinion for extension and contraction of an extension and contraction device for transferring to be extending and contracting a moving cylinder in which a third transfer spiral is installed with a rack for extension and contraction. SOLUTION: In this grain transfer apparatus for the combine harvester, a first transfer cylinder for fixing 23 in which a first transfer spiral 28 for transferring grains and a transfer cylinder for moving 22 in which a third transfer spiral 30 is installed by inserting into the inner diameter side of a second transfer cylinder for fixing 24 in which a second transfer spiral 29 is installed and bringing to be extending and contracting with an extension and contraction device 47 are installed. A motor 26 for moving the extension and contraction device 47 is installed over a joint metal 39 for connecting the first and second transfer cylinders for fixing 23, 24, while an insertion hole 53 for supporting by inserting the motor shaft 26a of the moving motor 26 and the shaft 50 of a pinion 49 for extension and contraction and a support hole 52 for supporting a rack 51 for extension and contraction engaging with the pinion 49 for extension and contraction are orthogonally installed to the joint metal 39.
