PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner unit for a vehicle and an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of sufficiently cooling the air at a rear seat. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with an evaporator 31, a heater core 42, and a case 41 storing the evaporator 31 and the heater core 42. The case 41 is provided with a bypass opening part 66 located between the evaporator 31 and the heater core 42, a foot blowout damper 46a opening or closing a foot spit hole 46 to control the quantity of the air blown out of the spit hole, an air mix damper 43 opening or closing the heater core 42 to control the quantity of the air passing through the heater core 42, and a controller 4 closing the foot blowout damper 46a when the air mix damper 43 is opened and opening the foot blowout damper 46a when the air mix damper 43 is closed.
