PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent derailment and the like of a crane even when seismic vibration in the oblique direction to the crane traveling direction is generated. SOLUTION: This base isolation device 1100 is arranged between a crane body 110 and a traveling device 150. In a beam 1103 freely rotational in the horizontal plane, one end is connected to the traveling device 150 freely rotationally via a first swivel bearing ring 1101, while the other end is connected to the crane body 110 via a second swivel bearing ring 1102. The base isolation device 1100 is arranged slantingly to the traveling direction of the traveling device 150. Therefore, if seismic vibration in the oblique direction to the traveling direction of the traveling device 130 is generated, the beam 1103 is turned around the central line C2 according to a relative movement between the crane body 110 and the traveling device 150 while the traveling device 150 creeps by a reaction of the beam rotation, so that the oblique vibration is absorbed and reduced.
