PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight and a size, and to enhance a low fuel consumption effect, in a power transmission for a hybrid electric vehicle. SOLUTION: In this transmission, an electric motor and an internal combustion engine are coupled or decoupled, by a clutch CA1, to the first and second planetary gear trains having four constituents A, B, C, D, power of the motor is input into the first constituent A at a fixed reduction ratio, power of the engine is input into the first and second constituents A, B at a reduction ration different from the reduction ratio of the motor via two clutches CA, CB, a brake is arranged in the fourth constituent D, and the third constituent C serves as an output. |
