PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a drill is overloaded since a work must be considerably drilled in the depth direction in a post process of a conventional method, the drill is often chipped, and often exchanged, the cost is increased, defects such as pin holes and shrinkage cavities are inevitable in case of castings, and the yield and non-adjusted ratio are degraded. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of a metal product in which a cavity is formed in a stock material by pressing a punch into the stock material, a part of the punch is protruded in the direction different from the punch inserting direction after the punch is inserted, and the cavity is formed on the side of the punch.
