PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical distribution system to automatically set a distribution route and a distribution schedule in accordance with kinds, quantity, distribution date and time, etc., of an order given by a customer. SOLUTION: This physical distribution system is furnsihed with a physical distribution server 10 to control reception of an order from a customer and ordering of the order from a dealer in a unified way and customer terminals 11, 12,..., 1m to transmit the contents of the order of the customer to the physical distribution server 10 through an internet network 60. The physical distribution server 10 displays an order guide screen on the customer terminals 11, 12,..., 1m in accordance with a demand from the customer and registers a kind, quantity, distribution date and time, a distribution place, etc., of the order designated by the customer in a customer data base 20. Thereafter, the order is classified for each of products handled by each of the dealers, ordering of the order is carried out to order reception terminals 21, 22,..., 2n of the relative dealers through the internet network 60, it is instructed that the order is deposited to a cooperate distribution terminal, information concerning the distribution date and time and the distribution place is referred to, and a distribution route and a distribution schedule of a distributor from the cooperate distribution terminal to each of the customers are automatically set. |
