PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a new creatine amidinohydrase showing excellent thermostability and a smaller Km value toward creatine by the gene recombinant method. SOLUTION: This method is the method for producing the creatine amidinohydrase from a creatine amidinohydrase gene containing the base sequence encoding the amino acid sequence represented by the sequence table (see the specification)-sequence number 1 or the amino acid sequence which is obtained by adding, deleting or substituting one or a plurality of amino acids to the above amino acid sequence and exhibits creatine amidinohydrase enzymatic activity, a recombinant vector containing the gene, a transformant obtained by means of transforming by the recombinant vector and the transformant. |
