<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood club head for driver which enables a golfer to easily hit a ball at a sweet spot, allows the easy rise of the hit ball and imparts an easily hittable feeling to the golfer. SOLUTION: The slenderness ratio of a clubface expressed by the value obtained by dividing the maximum face width of the large-sized driver club head of a metallic shell structure having a maximum face length of >=95 mm by the maximum face length is set within the range of 0/45 to 0.55. Further, it is preferable to set the loft angle of the face at an angle of >=11 deg. and the maximum face width in a range of >=50 mm.</p> |
