PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compost turning bucket which allows the efficient execution of turning work. SOLUTION: The front side of a bucket body 3 is provided with a rotor 9 in the transverse direction of the bucket and the back side of the bucket body 3 is provided with belt conveyors 7 and 8 toward the diagonal upper side of the transverse direction of the bucket. The front side and back side of the bucket body 3 are made to communicate with each other by a passage 17. As a result, the compost materials at the front of the bucket are delivered backward via the passage 17 while the material is agitated by the rotor 9 and are transported toward the bucket side by the belt conveyors 7 and 8.
