PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head in which thermal interference does not take place. SOLUTION: Heat generated from heaters 14, 24 is consumed for thermal transfer of sublimation dye and thermal coloring and residual heat is conducted through a glaze glass 3 to the heat dissipation fins of a substrate 1 and dissipated into the atmosphere. Since a joint 3a is sufficiently thin, the quantity of heat being absorbed to a protrusion 2 on the substrate exceeds the quantity of heat being conducted through the joint 3a. In other words, thermal interference is suppressed between the heaters 14 and 24. Since the joint 3a is provided between the heaters 14 and 24, cooling of a print sheet preheated by the heater 14 or 24 can be suppressed when the print sheet passes between the heaters 14 and 24.
